Welcome Party 6-9pm
Welcome to Milwaukee! We’re happy to invite you all to Lakefront Brewery to join us in a Milwaukee staple, the Friday Fish Fry, to kick off our weekend. Lakefront is one of the oldest craft breweries in town, situated right along the beautiful Milwaukee River.
Brittany and Daniel have spent a lot of lovely time here, resting for a beer after long walks on the East Side.
Weather permitting, we’ll be outside on the lower level right along the river, where we’ll have a tab open for food and drink.
Join us, let us welcome you to town, and get a chance to meet all of the other lovely folks that we’ve asked to join us for our wedding.
Dress code is smart-casual for this casual, comfortable dinner. Please no shorts or t-shirts.
Non Alcoholic, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options available.
The Wedding day- 10/17/2026
Because you’ve shared in our lives, friendship, and love
Brittany Anne Kellogg
And
Daniel Evan Victorious Ohly
Invite you to share the beginning of our new life together, as we share vows at our wedding
10am, Lake Park Lutheran Church
2647 N. Stowell Ave.
On Saturday Morning, October 17, at 10 AM, we are to be wed at Lake Park Lutheran Church.
This is one of the main reasons we want to get married in Milwaukee. Lake Park Lutheran has been a significant part of Daniel’s family for generations.
We will be in the Chapel of Lake Park Lutheran. A structure originally built in 1911, with classic Cream City brick.
Dress code is daytime formal attire, as this will be a rather traditional church wedding. We fell in love in the fall, and we are excited to celebrate the colors of the season. If you would like to dress in fall colors and warm textures, please feel free.
Parking and Transportation
Parking is available along Park Place, with a public lot just off Park Place and Downer Avenue. However, we encourage you to take a rideshare to our ceremony as we have arranged transportation for all guests to our reception.
We will have a bus take everyone from Lake Park Lutheran to Palomino for brunch, so no need to drive. Enjoy the scenery as you cross over the mighty Hoan Bridge! This will be a short 15-minute drive along Lake Michigan.
Brunch- Immediately after the Wedding
Palomino, Brunch and Pie
Immediately after the ceremony, we’ll be having our reception brunch at Palomino in Bay View.
Palomino is a farm-to-table scratch restaurant owned by one of our friends, Val Lucks. Daniel worked for her many moons ago, and by happenstance, we’ve gotten a chance to hang out with her in both Austin and Chicago. This is a great place, run by great people, making great food.
We have curated our “greatest-hits” brunch menu, and the lovely team at Palomino will provide standard table service. No pre-selection necessary, you’ll be able to order what you want off the menu. However, if you have any allergies/dietary restrictions, please let us know so that we can make sure we have you covered as we’re making menu selections.
As a note: Some of the seating will be at the bar, so if that’s something you’re uncomfortable with, please let us know.
After brunch, we’ll be cutting up Val’s famous pies for dessert. Once we’re all wrapped up, we’ll be sending you all out to enjoy the wild, wonderful world of Milwaukee. Go for a walk and enjoy the architecture, take in the beautiful art museum, shop at some local stores, and check out Miller Brewery, home of the High Life! Take a nap!
Non Alcoholic, Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Vegan options available.
The After Party- 8:30pm
Burnhearts, Drinks and Conviviality
Later in the evening, if you would like to keep the party going, join us for cocktails at Burnhearts. Don't forget to get dinner beforehand, as we won't have any food for ya. If you’re looking for any dinner suggestions, check out our recommendations page on our website.
Once you're wrapped up with dinner, we want you to join us for some drinks at one of our favorite bars in the WHOLE WORLD, Burnhearts. Known for an excellent beverage program and one of the coziest rooms. We recently spent a lovely afternoon here with Daniel’s brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Jen, and it really hit us that this is the place that encapsulates the essence of Milwaukee. It’s comfortable, it’s quality, and the people there are nice.
We’ve got the back of the bar reserved for us. Have a few drinks, play some pool, and get to know one another. Afterward, we’ll be moseying around the Bay View area, and likely go dancing somewhere. If you can’t make it, that’s totally understandable. We love you and appreciate you coming out for our wedding.
Dress Code is cocktail casual attire. Feel free to wear dark denim, boots–a look that feels like you are going to a cozy date-night spot in your neighborhood.
There’s no substantial food (although there are frozen pizzas), and there are plenty of non-alcoholic options.
